Every contractor gets a personal share link and a downloadable QR code — free, from the day you sign up. Print the code on a business card, a truck door or a yard sign, or text the link to the homeowner who just asked what you charge. Whoever uses it lands on a quote request with your business name already attached, and you are notified directly.
It is the one piece of GivingStump that works the day you join, wherever you operate, before there is a single job on the board near you: it turns marketing you already pay for — signage, cards, the truck itself — into quote requests you can answer.

What we will not pretend
- Homeowner demand today is concentrated in the Washington, DC metro area and the I-95 corridor. Contractor signup is open nationwide, but if you work outside that area the honest answer is that your own share link is what will work first.
- A job brought in on your link is not exclusive. Other local pros can still quote it so the homeowner can compare — that is what a marketplace is, and we would rather say so here than surprise you later.
- We are early. We are not going to quote you a lead volume, a win rate or an average ticket we cannot stand behind.

If I bring my own customer, do I keep the job?
The job arrives attached to you: your business name is on it and you are notified directly, whatever your service area or specialties say. Be clear-eyed about the trade-off, though — GivingStump is a marketplace, so other local pros can still quote that job and the homeowner can compare. We do not promise exclusivity. You pay commission only if the homeowner picks you.

Contractor signup is open across the United States and we are recruiting nationwide as we grow. Be realistic about timing: homeowner demand today is concentrated in the Washington, DC metro area and the I-95 corridor, which is our launch market. What do I need to bid, and what do I need to get paid?
Registering as a contractor is enough to bid. There is no manual approval queue, no connected bank account and no completed verification standing between you and your first offer. Two things must be in place before a homeowner can award you the job and pay you: your business is verified as real and operating with a certificate of insurance carrying at least $1M general liability, and your Stripe payout account is connected. Do both early so you are not scrambling the day a homeowner picks you. One more applies only at the top end: a job over $5,000 needs Premium Verified status.
How and when do I get paid on GivingStump?
Payment runs through Stripe. When a homeowner awards you the job they pay into escrow up front, and the money is released to your connected Stripe account once they confirm the work is complete. Commission is taken out of that payout. Escrow cuts both ways on purpose: the homeowner knows money only moves for finished work, and you know the money is already there before you roll a truck.
